Job Title: Maintenance Assistant
Responsible to: Maintenance Manager, Executive Director
Term/pay : May 7th - Aug 24th, $400.00/wk + room and board
Position Overview: The maintenance manager assistant is responsible for the day to day upkeep of the grounds, building and equipment of Arlington Beach Camp and Conference Centre.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Painting of interior and exterior buildings
- Maintenance of sports equipment, picnic tables, chairs, ball diamonds, etc.
- Perform septic t tank pump outs
- Maintenance of locks and related equipment
- Maintenance of grounds – cutting grass, Weed whipping, spraying, trimming trees/hedges, etc.
- Other Duties as requested
Qualifications and Skills:
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work well with others and on your own
- Knowledge and awareness of machinery an asset
- Maintain a high level of integrity and spiritual maturity
- Passion for the camping ministry
